Yocha News- The chances of finding life on Mars could be improved by examining the results of asteroid impact craters on Earth.

Scientists at Edinburgh University said that the body was found in an area in the U.S., where the asteroid hit the surface 35 million years. They believe that the impact crater provides good habitat for the growth of microorganisms.

The discovery suggests that the impact craters on other planets can also hide life. To find these microbes, scientists are drilling up to 2 km below the surface of one of the largest asteroid impact craters on Earth, in Chesapeake, United States.

Samples of the study indicate that unexpected spread of microorganisms on the surface of rocks. This proves that the impact crater of the environment continues to grow by 35 million years.

The researchers found that the heat generated by the collision would probably kill any creature living on the surface of the crater. However, the rupture of the asteroid to provide space for water and nutrients to flow to the development of living things.

Scientists believe, protection against collisions asterkawah to live climate change, such as global warming and the ice age.

Charles Cockell, a researcher at the University of Edinburgh, said: "The area around the crater vents collisions provide a haven for microorganisms that can thrive in the long run."

"Our results indicate that sub-surface crater on Mars may be a promising place to look for evidence of life," said Cockell quoted by the BBC
