Stages of development of lung cancer is divided into two, namely the development of SCLC and NSCLC progression. - Stages of Lung Cancer
The development stage SCLC.
Limited stage, cancer is found only on one part of the lungs and the tissues surrounding it.
Extensive stage, cancer is found in the tissues of the chest outside the lungs where it came from. Or cancer is found in the organs of the body that far. - Stages of Lung Cancer
The development stages of NSCLC
Stage is the stage of the discovery of a hidden cancer cells in phlegm (sputum) of patients in the water samples during bronchoscopy, but no visible tumor in the lung.
Stage 0 is the discovery stage of the cancer cells only in the innermost lining of the lungs and not invasive.
Stage 1 is the stage of cancer that is only found in the lung and has not spread to nearby lymph nodes.
Stage 2 is the stage of cancers found in the lungs and nearby lymph nodes.
Stage 3 is the stage of cancer that has spread to surrounding areas, such as the chest wall, diaphragm, large vessels or lymph nodes on the same side or opposite sides of the tumor.
Stage 4 is the stage of the cancer is found more than one lobe of the lung are the same, or in the lungs of others. Cancer cells have spread also to other organs, such as the brain, adrenal glands, liver, and bone.
