    Yocha News- Approaching the 2012 Olympics to be held in July in London, the perpetrators of cyber crime began launching fraudulent scheme to entrap people over the internet.

    As explained by Trend Micro through its official statement on Monday (4/16/2012), the perpetrators of fraudulent use of the promise of the sponsors Visa Golden Space, to entice people to try a chance trip prize package. However, according to Trend Micro offer is just a scam or fraud.

    Trend Micro also found malware in files Early Check-In 2012 London Olympics.doc. Inside this file is detected TROJ_ARTIEF.XPL, which contain RTF Stack Buffer Overflow Vulnerability and found in some versions of Microsoft Office components.

    If it managed to infect, this malware will turn into TROJ_PHINDOLP.A TROJ_DROPHIN.A and then destroy some of the computer system.

    Previously, in early 2008, Trend Micro found any spam claiming to be a lottery of the Committee of the 2012 Olympics in London. Internet users should be cautious in giving out personal information, especially when considering the fraudulent guise of lottery as it has been revealed.
