    Yocha NewsThe Scream, a painting by Edvard Munch sold trillions of dollars at auction house Sotheby's International in New York, United States. If still living, Munch would have very happy because his work is currently the world's most expensive painting.

    In the auction, a painting depicting a man with both hands holding his head was screaming that grabs two wealthy businessmen. They bid each other a high price until it reaches the price of U.S. $ 119.9 million or Rp 1.1 trillion. However, the organizers auction the winning bidder does not tell the identity of the painting.

    Owner of the painting which is a Norwegian company named Petter Olsen certainly very pleased. Therefore, the painting was created in 1895 to outperform other well-known artist scratches, namely Pablo Picasso titled Nude, Green Leaves and Bust. Two years ago, Picasso was sold for U.S. $ 106.5 million at Christie's auction house.

    One of the visiting artists, Michael Frahm claimed that the painting is indeed very high artistic value, equaling the Mona Lisa. "The image is used as a pop-style paintings of people from Warhol to Hollywood as an image on the cup and their shirts," Frahm said the company derived from arts in London, England.
